Great job getting the win yesterday! It
was a tough battle but we got it done. Good job Jose and John for
getting the win and save, respectively. Our next game is probably the
biggest game of the year! Thursday at 7:00 p.m. at Memorial we face the
league leading Orioles and we could split the series with a win. No
pressure! It's possible we could be rained out because rain is in the
forecast. Lets be ready! Get healed up, haired over and buc up because
we all want to beat the birds.
Adam will be on the mound for them. John Denney will take the mound for the Pirates!
We also have all of the rained out games scheduled:
Sunday August 19th at 4:30 pm at Memorial - Dodgers
Tuesday August 21st at 7:00 pm at Memorial - Jets
Sunday August 26th at 1:00 pm and 4:30 p.m - Dodgers then Thunder - 7 Inning games
This is barring any other rain outs! So it could change.
Too, there is apparently a championship series scheduled for Sept. 7th and 9th.
I'm not sure but I think its supposed to be a three game series between the top team for each division.
We actually helped the Red Sox by winning yesterday gain on the Jets but that's ok.
I like winning! Let's keep it up and I'll see you Thursday. Anybody not going to make it?
