The Pirates family suffered a loss this week with the death of B. J. Denney, son of John Denney.  We need to keep John and his whole family in our thoughts and prayers.

Brian J. “B. J.” Denney, age 31, of Jeffersonville passed away Sunday, April 15, 2012 at Crestwood Hospital in Huntsville, AL.

He was born May 28, 1980 in Jeffersonville, IN to John Calvin and Vicky Lynn Jones Denney. He was the Plant Manager for the Bethlehem Packaging Co. in Jeffersonville and member of Charlestown Independent Church.

Survivors include his parents; John and Vicky Denney of Jeffersonville, IN sister, Anna Alicia Denney Kane, Jeffersonville; grandparents, Barney and Ann Jones, Jeffersonville; niece, Ashlyn Danielle Kane; nephew, James Alexander Kane; uncles, Jimmy Denney(Alma), George Denney(Marilyn) and James E. Denney all of Charlestown; aunts, Margaret Beard, Peoria, IL and Dene Carter, West Memphis, AK; and many cousins.

Funeral services will be held at 12:00 PM Thursday April 19, 2012 at Charlestown Independent Church with burial in Charlestown Cemetery. Visitation will be held 1:00 PM to 8:00 PM Wednesday at the Grayson Funeral Home, Charlestown and after 10:00 AM Thursday at the church until time of service.
